‘The Pig’ in Windermere, specialises in all things ‘pork’. We believe the humble pig is an underrated meat, so we’re here to sing its praises. Our head chefs, Ian and Harry Dutton, have therefore created a mouth watering menu, taking inspiration from this well-loved and tasty meat.
Sourced locally and cooked fresh to order, we hope you will enjoy all that ‘The Pig’ has to offer, be it juicy ribs, our popular pig platter, smoked pig, potato and sweetcorn chowder, or a hog roast, cooked daily on the rotisserie. To wash down the hog, we stock a vast selection of local ales, wines and spirits, including ‘skinny champagne’, our newest offering at our sister restaurant, ‘The Village Inn’. More bubbles, less calories.
Open early until late, 7 days a week, our cosy bar and restaurant can be found in the heart of Windermere village. Seating 40 and with additional seating outside, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to ensure that whatever time you choose to visit us, you’ll be sure to have a ‘crackling’ time…
